The emphasis is on providing inputs which imaginative and above average active minds miss in the classrooms of College and Universities.
The philosophy of the program is towards creating a hub of excellence. Thus, the entry of students are restricted by interview led admission tests and total seats would remain limited. We believe that ability to think beyond syllabus, develop and use power of imagination and cultivating a desire for originality are virtues befitting a creative mind. Inclusivity of the education system is definitely indispensible attribute of a civilized system, but not at the cost of excellence.

Prof. Sugata Marjit
Director, Starebs
Sugata Marjit ( born 4.12.59), a First Class Undergraduate of Presidency College (1978) and a topper of Calcutta University (1980), did his Phd at the University of Rochester under the supervision of Ronald Jones (1981-1984). He is a former vice chancellor of University of Calcutta.
It is all about being innovative, original, and different — attributes that make them potential leaders in their profession.
